The Journey between home and hospital is a collection of stories told by six people who have survived cancer. They tell of their experiences, their thoughts and feelings, and describe how cancer has changed their lives. Through pictures and and sound, the stories, convey the strength of human spirit over adversity.

Mosquito Night |

MOSQUITO NIGHT is a performance and installation exploring the malaria research of poet-scientist Ronald Ross in the late 19th century alongside today’s efforts to combat the disease.
Writer Christine Watkins is working with Dr. Angela Priestman from the Department of Biological Sciences at Staffs University to develop an innovative performance text with a musical score composed by Mary Keith. The text will be performed at The Courtyard Theatre Hereford in February 2008 by Christine Watkins, Angela Priestman and Hereford community youth choir, The Voice Squad. >more information |

PATH TO MY DOOR |

| A DVD made for and with adults with learning disabilities in Walsall. Path To My Door looks at how individuals can make the move from residential homes or hostels to more independent living. Working in consultation with Walsall Integrated Disability Team, Nomad Media researched, devised, filmed and post-produced the project, as well as leading participatory workshop sessions. The 30 minute interactive DVD includes animated sequences and an originally commissioned music score. > Watch a selection |
